For 2026 that is € 920,00 per month on the continent (Decreto-Lei n.º 139/2025). Extra adults +50% of RMMG; dependent children +30%. Consular fee on the opened www2.gov.pt page for this service is € 90,00. After arrival the holder applies to AIMA for a temporary autorização de residência (Lei n.º 23/2007, art. 75.º: two years, renewable for three). Permanent residence is a later application after at least five years as a temporary-residence holder.
