What Viovena is

Viovena publishes immigration rules taken from official government sources, records which source each figure came from and the date it was read, and provides calculators that compare your answers against published tables.

What Viovena is not

Viovena is not a law firm, immigration consultancy, or registered adviser. We are not regulated by the OISC in the United Kingdom, MARA in Australia, the CICC in Canada, or any equivalent body. Nothing on this site is legal or immigration advice, and no relationship of adviser and client is created by using it.

We do not tell you what to do. We show you what an authority published and how your answers compare against it. Every decision about your immigration plans, and every application you make, is yours alone.

Accuracy and limits

We name the source and the date we read it for every figure. Immigration rules change, sometimes without notice, and an authority may publish something after our last check. When a sourced line is older than 90 days, the page shows a “Needs re-check” label. That label does not fetch the official page or update the record. It is not an official expiry and does not mean the figure is current. Always verify against the official source linked on the page before relying on it or applying.

Where a record says the page we read does not carry a figure, that is a statement about that page, not a statement that no rule exists.

Calculators and match figures

Calculator outputs and match figures are estimates based on the answers you provide and the tables we have recorded. They are not scores issued by any authority, not predictions of an outcome, and not a pass mark unless the authority itself publishes one. A ranking score is not an eligibility decision. Visa decisions belong solely to government authorities. We do not guarantee any application outcome.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the answers you give and for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not use the site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape it at a scale that affects other users.

Intellectual property and permitted use

You may use the site and its tools for your personal assessment and study, and share links to public pages. Except where permitted by applicable law or with our written permission, you may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, or republish our original materials, or copy substantial portions to create another service. These terms do not restrict fair dealing or other rights provided by law.

We do not claim exclusive rights over ideas, public facts, official immigration rules, exam formats, or independently created implementations. Your own submissions remain yours; we use them to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

Security and acceptable use

Do not access another person’s account or data, bypass access controls, automate credential attacks, or interfere with the service. Report a suspected vulnerability privately to support@viovena.com without accessing, retaining, or publishing other users’ personal information.

Subscriptions

Paid features are billed through Stripe on the terms shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time from your profile; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Limitation of liability

Viovena is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, from reliance on any figure published here, from an application outcome, or from any delay, refusal, cost, or missed deadline. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
